We all hoped that Covid would be confined to 2020, but sadly it still affects many of our personal and professional lives.
Lakehouse and Stationhouse Nurseries are really proud to have been able to remain open to support our parents and children
during this unprecedented time, and to ensure that we continue to keep your little ones, our team and the community safe we
have kept some operational adaptations in place.
- Virtual show around video and out of hours nursery tours.
- Drop off and pick up at the nursery doors
- Enhanced daily Cleaning
- Daily Anti-Viral Fogging
- Virtual parent meetings and parent workshops where possible
- High proportion of virtual staff training
- All face to training in Covid safe conditions
- No agency staff
- Lots of time outside – thank goodness for our large gardens.
- High ventilation of rooms
- Hand sanitiser stations and increased hand washing
- All eligible staff fully vaccinated
We really believe that when choosing a nursery for your precious little one, it is best to visit in person to view the
environment, and observe staff and children’s interactions through your own eyes. However due to Coronavirus, we need to
reduce the number of adults entering the nursery. This ensures the safety of our team and the children in our care and
alongside other safety measures, has enabled us to keep cases to a minimum. To help give you an idea of our approach
and our environment, we have recorded a virtual tour of nursery, we would encourage you to watch this video and then
give us a call to talk things through. We can then arrange an out of hours nursery tour with one of our nursery leaders.

We also post regularly on our nursery Instagram pages @stationhousenursery4
and @lakehousenursery18 which will also
give you a flavour of us.
Queuing in the lovely sunshine at drop off and pick up is one thing, but when it’s cold and wet – ouch.
I promise that our processes are constantly reviewed and we are doing everything we can to make them as
smooth, pragmatic and efficient as possible.
For vacancies please give Jade a call on 01275 817143 and she can answer any questions you may have.
We hope you and your family are safe and well and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
